Sundrops by Corey Yoder for Moda

Sometimes, I like to buy charm packs for two reasons, besides that they are cute and fun.
I fall for a collection.
I’m on a fabric budget. Okay, yes. Sometimes I tiptoe outside the budget, but it’s rare.
And it’s not in the budget to buy yardage or fat quarters, or even fat eighths  for that month, because I already spent money earlier that month on fabric.
Yes, I could dip in to next month’s budget.
BUT, then that goes against sticking to the budget.
SO, I’ll buy an inexpensive charm pack of the collection I can’t stop thinking about. That’s what I did with….

Moda Sundrops Collection by Corey Yoder.

I really, really love this collection.
Fortunately, it was at the end of September for the purchase of the charm packs. So at the beginning of October I purchased a fat quarter bundle.

I was so happy to find one. Because everywhere I looked, they were sold out.

Aren’t these beautiful fabrics? Winter is coming in the Hudson Valley. I can feel it in my bones. I have a few ideas of how I might use these and the charm pack to brighten up a cold, snowy day.
Have a great week everybody!!

Now that is a nicely balance mix of fabrics. Yum, and I to buy a charm pack when I fall in love… but can’t afford!
