Sunday Stash and New Projects

I hope everyone had a great Thanskgivng. Ours was full of fun and laughing. Of course food. I was so restrained, because I am determined to stick to this diet, and I did. So, I am proud of myself.

This is a great time of year to pick up bargains, with Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. I will show those fabric finds next week.

This week I will share these two that I purchased during the week. I love and have always loved the seed packet fabric. And I also love fabric that is about the USA, and the states. And I found two great fabrics which I purchased in two colorways.

I just love fabric like this – fabric feed sacks patterns.

A project I am planning for 2017 is a raspberry and lemon colored fabric quilt. My Friend Trinia Braughton @PenguinFeats who I met a Sew Pro inspired me to make one.  The colors look so great together. She just finished this color scheme and her quilt for Tula Pink’s #100 blocks in #100 days challenge. I love, love, love her quilt, and I started one too. However, I am using the raspberry – lemon combination for a differnent pattern that Faith Jones @Fresh Lemons Quilts created for, We All Quilt from Bernina. I am planning the big reveal of this quilt before the summer using these rapsberry fabrics and;

some lemon colored ones I haven’t settled on yet. I wll post on my progress thorughout the winter and spring.

Stay tuned.

I’m pretty excited about this quilt. The new fabric in this group is the Karen Lewis fabric, from Blueberrry Park on the left.

Today I am linking up with Sunday Stash @ Molli Sparles.

Happy Quilting, and have a great week.

    Oooh Anne, I have been watching Trinia’s quilt blocks develop and her color scheme is SO gorgeous! I can’t wait to see your quilt come together. It’s such a summery color palette! I think of pink lemonade <3
