Lots of Different Quilting Projects

Time has flown by since I’ve posted. So a hodgepodge of activities have been swirling around, and I’m going to share some of them with you.

I began hand quilting this quite a while ago. It’s a king size quilt, and the projects I need to get finished by the end of this year keep growing.

I love to have one quilt or something to work on by hand. I decided that because I haven’t gotten that far, I’m going rip out what I’ve done and have it quilted by a longarmer. (It’s not that much). In it’s place, I want to learn some embroider techniques. I bought a small started kit from Penguin & Fish.  Photos to come.

I am especially behind in taking photos of my all quilts in progress, and am going to catch up on that for my next post.

Below is photo of a new quilt I am working on for my cousin Hannah. I am at the cutting stage right now.

This pattern came from The Fat Quarter Shop. I am however, changing it up
with a special boarder and binding.

More about this and all these projects to come. So stay tuned.

Also in issue 12 of Make Modern e-zine I worte an article agout Cheryl Brickey, Including her life, quilting designs, blog and more!! Cheryl also shares a wonderful pattern in the e-zine.

Happy Quilting!! Stay tuned, because there is lots more to share on my to do and WIP list.

I love comments and read every one of them! 🙂
