WIP Maggie Jane’s Quilt Top is Finished

One of my favorite parts of the quilting process is when I put the blocks together in rows, and then the rows together to make the final quilt top.

I am really excited to show it to you. I just finished pressing the top, and I love that it has so many little details in the fabrics. It reminds me of the I Spy books.

When Maggie is older, she will have lots of fun identifying little villages, (see squares above), in one print, flowers in another and music. That is the reason I chose a pattern that would highlight scrappy fabrics like these.

I think I’m going to make a scrappy back too with some orphan blocks from these fabric groups.

Today I am linking up with Let’s Bee Social at Sew Fresh Quilts.

Happy Quilting!!

I love comments and read every one of them! 🙂

I definitely agree that there is a magic in piecing together a quilt top. Beautiful! 🙂

Such a sweet quilt! The I-Spy elements are subtle and the overall look is very unified. So pretty!
