Product Review – The Big Board

A few weeks ago some of my Monday night quilt friends recommended a great new product to me.

Below is a photo of a typical ironing board.

We all know how the left end tapers to a corner or triangle. That does help when ironing shirts. But it doesn’t help at all when ironing fabric yardage.

I have to move the left up to be ironed after I’ve done the right side. If you are ironing yardage, you always find yourself juggling each side of the fabric to iron it smoothly and equally, across. It never really works out quite right, does it?

But check this out.

Side by side compare and contrast.

This perfect rectangular board fits easily over any standard ironing board.
It’s called The Big Board. Clink this link to take you to the web site.

This makes ironing a breeze. Compare this to……

to this. So much more convenien, and takes less time.

This product is really helpful and a time saver. Please note: I am not being paid to endorse this product, nor did I get it for free or at a discount.

I hope you like it as much as I do.

Have a great week, and Happy Quilting!!

I love comments and read every one of them! 🙂

    Hi Anne,
Thanks for the review! A friend of mine had her husband make something like this for her and it was so nice to be able to press big projects and yardage without the hassle of having to move it around a lot! I especially liked it for pressing quilt tops.
