WIP – Marigold’s Quilt Top Finished

Marigold’s quilt top is finally finished. I’m working on the back now. And plan to machine quilt it.

I love the way the top finally came out, and am excited to share it with you. Enjoy these photos.

Next I have to make the back, which I plan to do using Improv quilting.

Stay tuned to the big reveal.

Yes, it its supposed to be very scrappy. The only thing I was told, was that it needed to included peach and aqua.

This was a really fun quilt top to make.  Actually one of my favorites!!

Stay tuned for more. And another baby quilt. My cousin’s daughter. She picked the Whippersnapper that Anna Maria Horner designed and is featured on Creativebug. There are some similarities in the patterns.  Really it’s just the strips sewn together that become part of a 12.5″ x 12.5″ block.

Happy Quilting!!

Today I am linking up with Let’s Be Social@SewFreshQuilts.

This is so soft and pretty!! I love that you were able to use all these medium-ish greys, rather than the lighter low volumes. It gives it so much more depth. 😀

Very pretty, I like all of the low volume prints combined. I can't wait to see how you quilt it!
