Sunday Stash and Monday Crush – Quilting Inspirations

Late yesterday afternoon a package from Amazon came to the door.

I know this has become a very popular activity for adults, especially for those who love creativity. I am beginning to create some of my own designs. And I sometimes I get a block. So, I thought I’d give this a try.

I’m really happy that there are quilt related coloring books. Tula Pink has come out with a coloring book. And Cotton + Steel is about to come out with one too.

I read an article or blog, and can’t remember who wrote it. I will reference it if I figure that out. These markers were recommended in both sizes. Later this afternoon I will do some coloring, and am really looking forward to it.

So today I am linking up with Molli Sparkles Sunday Stash. I think this qualifies as Sunday Stash, because it is quilting related. And tomorrow I will be linking up with Cooking Up Quilts Main Crush Monday.

Happy Quilting and Coloring!! I love your comments and will respond to each of them by e-mail.

My thoughts and prayers are with those in Paris, and all those effected. May our world somehow find a path to peace and harmony.

That looks like so much fun, I have a set of the 88 pens and they are great, although I do have to keep them out of sight of the children! Have fun

Of course this qualifies! It's a notion to get those creative quilting juices going. I love markers so much, I have two jars full of them. I also carry around coloured pens with me everywhere because you never know when you'll need a touch of colour! Thanks for linking up!

Those coloring books look like fun! I've been debating whether I need one myself or not; I'm sure I will win and end up with one sometime. 🙂 I keep markers in my sewing room and in my living room. You never know when you might need to color or draw something! Thanks for linking to MCM and have a great week!

It looks like you have some colorful fun in store! I always use colored pencils…it is the only "color" my boys would use growing up, so I just got used to them…never did have markers or even many crayons around the house, and you had to twist their arm to use anything other than regular pencil, lol! 🙂 okay, so maybe the colored pencils were really just for me 😉
