Some sewing did happen today. Not as much as I would like. However, last night I finished the binding on the nautical baby quilt. I will photograph it over the weekend. It has a few surprises that I am excited to share. They will be added to the quilt after the baby is born though.
I have nothing to show relating to the bathroom renovation. I do feel as though I’m in an episode of “Love it, Or List It,” or “The Property Brothers, Buying and Selling,” on HGTV.
A mistake was made and one of the tiled walls had to be ripped out and re-done, because the shower knob handle was put in the wrong place. And a lot, and I mean A LOT, of dust lands all over the house during a renovation. As I am getting on the other side of this repository flu, as a reaction from the flu shot, that dust intensifies my coughing. (Sorry if I sound like I’m complaining. It actually seems a bit comical to me now that I broke my fever, and I’m generally feeling a little better and more energetic).
I got the first of the four triangles on the 34 squares. Tonight I will either do another set or hand sew anchors on the nautical baby quilt.
Chain sewing away this afternoon.
And, one of my feline champions, Biscuit sat behind the sewing machine while I sewed them together. When I was ready to photograph the finished squares, he wanted his photo op – and it’s almost impossible for me to say no to Biscuit or Emma for that matter.
I love reading your comments and read all of them. I respond to each by e-mail.
